Republican businessman Joe Freeman has officially launched his campaign for the Alabama House of Representatives, District 95, pledging to bring transparency, accountability and conservative values to Montgomery according to a news release.
“I am excited to announce my candidacy for State Representative for District 95,” Freeman said in the release. “I am committed to serving our community with dedication, integrity, and a passion for representing the values and interests of our neighbors.”
A seasoned financial professional with more than a decade of experience as a Registered Investment Advisor, Freeman has built his career managing the financial futures of high-net-worth clients — those with $1 million or more in investable assets the release said. He has developed customized stock portfolios and retirement strategies tailored to each client’s goals and risk profile. His success in both the private sector and community service, he said, reflects his commitment to helping families, retirees and business owners plan for long-term stability.
Rooted in Baldwin County values of hard work, family and service, Freeman said he understands the financial and social challenges many Alabamians face. His background in both financial advising and law enforcement, he added, gives him a practical perspective on fiscal responsibility and public safety.
"Citizens have the right to know how their tax dollars are being spent, how decisions are being made and who is influencing those decisions,” Freeman said. “When government operates in the open, it is more honest, more efficient and more responsive to the needs of the public."
Freeman said his campaign will focus on protecting taxpayers, supporting families and strengthening local communities through common-sense, conservative leadership.
“Being conservative means valuing tradition, personal responsibility and limited government,” he said. “I believe in strong families, free markets, individual liberty and the rule of law.”
Freeman and his wife, Mignon, live in Gulf Shores with their six children.
