Escapology has opened its latest escape room venue at Eastern Shore Centre, marking the brand's third Alabama location, according to a news release.

The business launched with a grand opening Friday, Nov. 21 at 3:30 p.m. near the Barnes & Noble entrance. The event featured a ribbon cutting, confetti and a chance for guests to tour the themed rooms and enjoy refreshments.

"We're so excited to officially welcome Escapology to the tenant mix at Eastern Shore Centre," said Sidney Carol Barnhardt, marketing associate for the center. "Escapology is sure to be Spanish Fort's go-to destination for family-friendly entertainment and we're glad they have made their home here at ESC."

Escapology bills itself as a premier escape room experience with a lineup of immersive games in which teams solve puzzles, crack codes and race the clock inside elaborately designed settings. The release noted the venue is suited for friends, families and corporate groups seeking team-building challenges.
