Elberta German Sausage Festival returns Oct. 25 to support local fire department

Get your appetites ready.

The Elberta German Sausage Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 25, beginning at 8 a.m. The festival will be held at Elberta Town Park located at 24950 Pine St.

The biannual festival, held on the last Saturdays of March and October, serves as a cornerstone event for the community while raising funds for the Town of Elberta Volunteer Fire Department.

Proceeds from the festival not only support the fire department but also benefit local benevolent initiatives and provide fundraising opportunities for other non-profit organizations. Funds help ensure the continued operation and improvement of the festival while offering local groups a platform to promote their causes.

The event will feature nearly 200 arts and crafts vendor booths alongside spaces for non-profit organizations. Food options go beyond sausage, with offerings such as roasted corn, BBQ, kettle corn and classic carnival fare. Children can enjoy a bounce house area, with proceeds benefiting the Elberta Police Department Reserve Program.

Admission is free, and vendors accept cash or debit and credit cards. Organizers encourage the community to join in the festivities and support local causes.
