Compton~Butterfield

Camille Compton and Edward Stanley Butterfield were united in marriage June 2, 2007 on the sailing boat Joshua out of Grand Marine, Point Clear. William Hooten, grandfather of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Compton of El Paso, Texas, William and Julia Beazley of Fairhope.

She graduated high school in El Paso, Texas and works as an estitician at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear.

The bridegroom is the son of Edward and Geraldine Butterfield of Albany, Ore., Debbie and Dave Kepler of Fort Collins, Colo.

He graduated high school in Albany, Ore., and works for International Wines as a wine representative in Baldwin County.

The bride was given in marriage by Robert Compton and William Beazley, fathers of the bride.

Amberjoy Feathers of Fairhpe was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Fallon Brown of Tuscaloosa, Alexandra Brown of Fairhope, and Kara Harper of Fayetteville, N.C.

Mattew Body of Atlanta was best man. Groomsmen wereShaun Kepler of Fort Collins, Colo., Aaron Kepler of Fort Collins, and Luke Matthews of Fairhope.

Ushers were Will Compton, Maclyn Compton and Christopher Taylor.

A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents.

Music/entertainment was provided by Gary Fuller.

The couple will reside in Fairhopoe.
