Jennifer Nicole Clark and Jason Marvin James were united in marriage Aug. 11, 2007 at Oyster Bay Baptist Church in Gulf Shores. The Rev. Jerry Peebles officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Angela Shevon Evans of Tallassee. She is a 2005 graduate of Tallassee High School and is a junior majoring in public relations at the University of West Florida. She is a teacher at Gulf Shores First Baptist Church Child Development Center.
The bridegroom is the son of Marvin and Carol James of Foley. He is a 2002 graduate of First Assembly Christian School in Robertsdale, a 2005 graduate of Faulkner State Community College and a 2007 graduate in telecommunication and film from the University of West Florida. He is online director/staff writer for Gulf Coast Newspapers.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother.
Sarah Chaput of Prattville served as maid of honor. Vinnesa Nicholson, sister of the bridegroom, of Summerdale, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Peebles of Gulf Shores and Alice White of Foley.
Stuart Hitchcock of Pensacola, Fla., served as best man. Groomsmen were Joey Quimby of Atmore, David Peebles of Gulf Shores and James Peebles of Foley.
Flower girls were Kaitlyn Arthur, niece of the bridegroom, of Summerdale, and Erica White of Foley. Ring bearer was Cameron Norris of Summerdale.
Ushers were Joey Baird, brother of the bride, Quaid Arthur and Tyler Arthur, nephews of the bridegroom.

Following a honeymoon trip to Atlanta, the couple resides in Gulf Shores.
