Christian Service Center receives $10,000 donation

Posted

The Christian Service Center (CSC) was selected as the recipient of a $10,000 donation raised during the Merry Memories Tinsel Trail, presented by The Garner C. Tampary Memorial Foundation. The Christmas trees, adorned by sponsors in memory of departed loved ones, graced the Orange Beach Waterfront Park and the Coastal Arts Center.

Founded by the Tamparys in memory of their son Garner, the Tinsel Trail in its inaugural year featured 45 beautifully decorated trees along the trail, drawing inspiration from similar successful events in Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Plans are underway to expand participation in the coming years, solidifying the trail as a heartwarming addition to the Christmas festivities in Orange Beach.

The CSC, dedicated to providing food and emergency aid to less fortunate low-income families in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan, extends its sincere appreciation for the community's support. The substantial donation from Merry Memories Tinsel Trail contributes to advancing the CSC's mission and assisting those in need during the holiday season.
