The Galey-Tripke Gallery Event will feature the works of Veronica Galey and Andrea Tripke. Award winning artist, Veronica Galey, originally from South Korea, lives in Spanish Fort with husband, Larry, and divides her time as an artist with working at a local day care.
She began exploring her artistic talents in high school and studied at a South Korean art school for four years. Primarily, known for her work as a portrait artist, Veronica also enjoys painting realistic still lifes and landscapes. She works in oil, watercolor, graphite and charcoal and pastel.
Andrea Tripke, born and raised in Germany, now lives in Daphne with her husband, Dirk and her month-old daughter, Lily Blu. After graduating from Columbus College of Art and Design with a degree in fine arts, she began work as a free-lance illustrator, animator and designer. Andrea's multi-media process of creating illustrations includes layering with colored pencil, oil and acrylic. Her works range from the realistic to abstract and from serious to whimsical.
The Veronica Galey-Andrea Tripke Gallery event will run from March 10 to April 4. BRAG is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
