Dr. and Mrs. Bert Hayes of Gulf Shores, and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Albright of Owens Cross Roads, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Albright, to Thomas Oren Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Klages of Pensacola, Fla., and the late James Davis of Blountville, Tenn.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Auburn University. She is employed by Brett-Robinson in Orange Beach.
Grandparents are Jim Patteson of Athens, the late Eloise Turner Patteson, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Albright, and Doris Paul, all of Huntsville.
The prospective bridegroom attended George Stone Vo-Tech in Pensacola, Fla. He is employed by Brett-Robinson in Orange Beach.
He is the grandson of Peggy Orr of Sumter, S.C., and the late Thomas Orr, Wanda Lambert of Blountville, Tenn., and the late James Davis Sr., Margaret Klages of Bedford, Pa., and the late Frank Klagas.
The couple will exchange vows at a beachside wedding at 6 p.m. Sept. 8, 2007 in Orange Beach with the Rev. Billy Patteson, great-uncle of the bride, presiding.
