July is nearly here, and the Alabama Gulf Coast has no shortage of ways to celebrate Independence Day.

This year's list of celebrations ranges from full days of fun that end with fireworks, parades and concerts. There is sure to be something for everyone. Due to the event dates, you can celebrate for days.

Summerdale Annual Independence Day

  • What: Summerdale Fire and Rescue is hosting the annual Summerdale Independence Day event at Pioneer Park. The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. with food, drinks, craft vendors and children's activities. Car lovers will enjoy the car show (awards ceremony at 2 p.m.). The Molly Ringwalds take the stage at 7 p.m. and the fireworks at 9 p.m.
  • When: Saturday, June 29, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Where: Pioneer Park, 110 E. Jackson Ave., Summerdale
  • Price: Free to attend

Bay Minette Fireworks

  • What: Hosted by the Bay Minette Rotary Club, the annual fireworks display is not to be missed. This year's event will include free giveaways, food trucks and more.
  • When: Wednesday, July 3, 6 p.m.
  • Where: 2211 McMillan Ave., Bay Minette
  • Price: Free to attend

Independence Day Street Party at The Wharf

  • What: The Wharf's Main Street will fill with fun activities for the whole family to enjoy ahead of the fireworks and SPECTRA Laser Light Experience which begin at 8:45 p.m. Dress in your red, white and blue and enjoy the bubble truck, bounce houses, balloon artists, juggler and Reptile Bus while DJ Matt spins dance tunes.   • When: Wednesday, July 3, 5-9 p.m.
  • Where: The Wharf, 23101 Canal Road, Orange Beach
  • Price: Free to attend but some activities require money

Fairhope's Fourth of July Celebration

  • What: The City of Fairhope's annual Fourth of July celebration is a full evening event. Kick off the evening at Henry George Park for the Baldwin Pops' Independence Day concert at 7:30 p.m. The concert is packed with patriotic music and is a great vantage point for the fireworks display. The city's fireworks are set off from Fairhope Pier and begin at 9 p.m. Bayfront Park areas fill quickly and traffic will be heavy so please pack your patience along with your lawn chairs.
  • When: Thursday, July 4, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
  • Where: Henry George Park and Fairhope Pier
  • Price: Free to attend

July 4 Weekend Party at OWA

  • What: OWA Parks & Resort has a weekend full of family fun planned for the Independence Day weekend. Enjoy fun like a Dive-In movie (Tropic Falls admission required), live music and an incredible fireworks show July 6. Uncle Sam will be around for photo ops and hot dog lovers can test their limits in the Hot Dog Eating Contest. For the full schedule of events, visit www.visitowa.com.

City of Mobile's Fourth of July Celebration

  • What: The USS Alabama will serve as the backdrop for the City of Mobile's annual Fourth of July Celebration. The fun kicks off with live music by Symone French & The Trouille Troupe at 6:30 p.m., Get Sideways at 7:45 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.
  • When: Thursday, July 4, 6-9:30 p.m.
  • Where: USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, 2703 Battleship Pkwy, Mobile
  • Price: Parking is $5

July 4 Jam at American Legion Post 199

  • What: American Legion Post 199 has one of the best bayfront venues to enjoy the fireworks. Plan to head to the Post 199 and enjoy the live music, grab cocktails at the Tiki Bar and splash in the bay.
  • When: Thursday, July 4, 5 p.m.
  • Where: American Legion Post 199, 700 S. Mobile St., Fairhope

City of Daphne Fireworks

  • What: The City of Daphne will once again host its annual Independence Day fireworks display at Al Trione Sports Complex. The fireworks display will be synchronized to music through the radio. Signs will display the station for visitors to tune in to.
  • When: Thursday, July 4, 9 p.m.
  • Where: Al Trione Sports Complex, 8600 Whispering Pines Road, Daphne
  • Price: Free to attend

Magnolia Springs Parade

  • What: Magnolia Springs' Biggest Little Fourth of July Parade will roll through town at 10:30 a.m. After the parade, everyone is invited to an All-American hot dog lunch at the Magnolia Springs Fire Station.
  • When: Thursday, July 4, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Where: Town of Magnolia Springs, 14809 Gates Ave., Magnolia Springs
  • Price: Free to attend

Gulf Shores Fireworks Celebration

  • What: The City of Gulf Shores annual Fourth of July fireworks is easily seen up and down the Alabama Gulf Coast. The fireworks will launch from the Gulf State Fishing and Education Pier and spectators are encouraged to gather at Gulf State Park and the eastern area of the Gulf Shores Public Beach for the best viewing experience.
  • When: Thursday, July 4, 9 p.m.
  • Where: Gulf State Park Pier, 20800 E. Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores

July Jamboree

  • What: Cassebaum Farms is hosting a fun-filled afternoon of Fourth of July festivities with a free petting zoo, yard games and a watermelon seed spitting contest. If you get hungry, snow cones and hot dogs will be available for sale.
  • When: Saturday, July 6, 3-6 p.m.
  • Where: Cassebaum Farms Produce, 12949 County Road 91, Lillian
