The Alabama Coastal Foundation is inviting fifth grade teachers across the state to register for its free Coastal Kids Quiz program for the 2025-2026 school year.

The online program, developed by the nonprofit as part of its mission to protect and improve Alabama’s coastal environment, offers students a chance to learn about local ecosystems while giving teachers a shot at classroom support. Throughout the program, five rounds of 15 questions provide educators multiple opportunities to win $100 to enhance classroom instruction.

Participation is open to all fifth grade teachers in Alabama, and registration is now available at www.joinACF.org. Additional program details can be found at www.joinACF.org/coastal-kids-quiz.
