ROBERTSDALE, Ala. - Congratulations to the Foley Middle School Boys Soccer team. The Lions went undefeated and won the 2021 Baldwin County Middle School Championship in a shootout over Daphne in the county title match at Robertsdale. Trailing by a goal, Foley scored with about three minutes left in regulation to tie the game at 2-2. The Lions went on to win the shootout phase 4-3 in penalty kicks to finish undefeated at 11-0 as county champions.
The Lions’ goalkeeper Drake Zarro was named the Most Valuable Player. The FMS Lions are led by head coach Nick Beach and assistant coach Leah Beach.
