Welcome back to teachers and students! It is hoped that everyone had a restful and relaxing spring break and is ready for the final five weeks of school.
The PTA Executive Board Meeting will be held tomorow, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Second grade will be performing in the upcoming PTA meeting next Monday, April 28. The meeting will be held at the Daphne Methodist Church CLC building and will begin at 7 p.m.
The Volunteer Appreciation Bruch will be held Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. This recognizes the hard work of parent/grandparent volunteers on our campus.
The children in Mrs. McGinty’s “Kinder-Garden” are are learning about plants, flowers and trees, and they’re celebrating Earth Week.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the library April 28 to May 2, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Library closes for inventory May 9.
Mrs. Nolfe’s third-grade gifted students are getting back on track this week. SAT testing the two weeks before spring break kept them busy, but now it’s time to charge ahead with their new unit, “Medieval Times: If You Lived in the Days of the Knights.” This week they will receive their noble name and compare the Middle Ages to current times.
