To Be dinner set for April 28

To Be will honor its volunteers with a celebration dinner Saturday, April 28, 6:30 p.m., at the St. Lawrence Family Center.

The dinner this year honors the following volunteers:  Janet Anderson, Gerry Berneche, Carol Carmody, Harriet Fullington, Holly Irvin, Shannon James, Cheryl Korte, Nancy Morris, Marguerite Murphy, Alyssa Morisani, Diana Pazzkowski, Alba Russo, Carole Schneider, Allison Schott, Val Smith and Sylvia Stroud.

The key speaker at the To Be Dinner on April 28 is Dr. Janet Smith. Smith taught at Notre Dame University for 10 years, served on the faculty of the University of Dallas and was named “Pro-Life Person of the Year” in Dallas.

Tickets for the dinner are $30 each; Tax-deductible donations are welcome.

Tickets can be purchased at St. Lawrence Church office in Fairhope; Christ the King Church office in Daphne; and at the To Be office at 399 S. Section Street in Fairhope. 

To Be volunteers, under the direction of Sonja Brueck, provide free pregnancy tests, referrals, information, material assistance and parenting classes to pregnant women.
