ROBERTSDALE, Alabama -- Unlike the old George Jones hit of the 1990s, eight staffers at Robertsdale Elementary School might just be ready for their rocking chairs, presented to retirees during a special ceremony and reception held Friday, May 26 at the school library.

The eight combined for over 200 years of experience.

This year's retirees are Mark Brown, 23 years; Linda Johnson, 24 years; Rhonda Mosley, 25 years; Rose Davis, 26 years; Donna Blackwell, 26 years; Tracie Knight, 28 years; Ann Phildius, 32 years; and Susie Vivar, 35 years.
