Are you looking to add a four-legged member to your family? The Haven is hoping to make it a little easier by waiving adoption fees for cats and dogs until Aug. 31.

The Haven has a variety of adoptable pets ranging from different breeds, mixes, shapes and sizes. Pets are examined and vetted, allowing new families to focus on meeting their potential new best friend.

"Our goal is to clear the shelters with this special adoption promotion," said Alecia Spencer, Adoption Coordinator at The Haven. "Jasper is one example of a super sweet guy who needs a loving home. He is an affectionate 3-year-old Boxer mix who arrived at The Haven very scared and malnourished. Jasper is happy and ready for a home, thanks to our lifesaving crew. Spending time with Jasper in our office is a joy, and I am sure for Jasper, too."

All pets adopted from The Haven are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, flea, tick, heartworm preventative, microchipped and registered and spay or neutered. The regular adoption fee for dogs is $175 and $125 for cats.
