(NAPSI)—There’s now an easy-to-use mobile app that can make it easier for consumers to find nearby businesses and help build communities. Practically everything in your community can be in the palm of your hand. Find a restaurant for dinner, locate a roof repair company and check your child’s after-school activity calendar, all in one app. When the app is linked to a newspaper, it can bridge the gap between print and digital.

You get a comprehensive city directory wrapped in an easy-to-use intuitive user interface that’s built primarily for tapping, not typing, so it’s one-hand friendly.

With this app you can:

• Shop local and save: Whether you’re a customer or a small business, the HubCiti app can help you save and grow.

• Discover something new: It lists all the places that make a community special so you can enjoy being a tourist in your own town.

• Events: The app aggregates several different calendars into one. You can have a single calendar to help you find events throughout your neighborhood and beyond.

• The things you need to get through the day: Local news, weather, even the lowest gas prices in town.

• City services: Do everything from contact elected officials to report a pothole through the app.

Whether you’re a business owner, a newsletter publisher, a club president or a consumer of any kind, you can learn more about the app, including how to sign up, at www.hubcitiapp.com.
