ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Coaches from Robertsdale High School wrapped up a summer series of sports camps with a tennis camp, held last week at the city tennis courts on Silverhill Avenue. Robertsdale athletic director Brian Campbell, coaches John Chapman and Chad Eubanks, and players from Robertsdale High School participated in the camp, which was scheduled to run June 19-21.
Other camps, part of the city of Robertsdale’s free summer camp series, included basketball, baseball, softball and soccer. City league coaches will host a pair of skills camps in July, a defensive skills camp July 10-12, and an offensive skills camp, July 24-26 at the city fields, U.S. 90 at East Chicago Street between the post office and the police station. Both camps are slated for 5:30 to 8 p.m. each day.
A cheerleading camp, with new head coach Amy Stewart, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 11-13 at the PZK Hall on Silverhill Avenue (Alabama 104).
