MOBILE, Ala. — Space 301 in downtown Mobile is presenting “Personal Interiors,” organized by Jason Guynes, professor of art and chairperson, Department of Visual Arts, at the University of South Alabama.
The exhibit features works from Alan Feltus and Lani Irwin, who are internationally renowned figurative artists. The husband and wife pair have received Pollock-Krasner Foundation grants and exhibited internationally at numerous prestigious venues.
The couple’s two sons, Tobais and Joseph, will also be featured in the show from their collaborative works as Feltus/Feltus. The brothers typically work in photography and film. The images create a series of odd characters and “self portraits of others” while exploring the human condition.
The exhibit will remain at the gallery until July 3.
Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.; and extended hours on the second Friday night each month.
Space 301 is free of admission, wheelchair accessible and open to the public.
