Bay Minette, Ala. - The Baldwin County grand jury will review second-degree sexual abuse charges against a Bay Minette man who allegedly forcefully fondled a teenage female on two occasions since November, according to Baldwin County District Court records.
Wayde Frank Thompson, 54, of Daniels Road is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual abuse.
He was released Jan. 15 from Baldwin County Corrections Center in Bay Minette after posting $40,000 in bail.
According to a warrant filed in District Court, Thompson used physical force in November to fondle the breasts of a female between the ages of 12 and 16.
According to a deposition filed in District Court, on Jan. 12, Thompson physically held the same victim and placed his hands between her legs, rubbing her in the genital area.
Thompson waived a preliminary hearing Feb. 14 and was continued on the same bail. District Judge Jody Bishop also ordered Thompson to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.
