ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Barry and Charlene Ryan of Robertsdale would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Marie Ryan, to Joshua Alan Meeker, whose parents are Alan and Susan Meeker of Summerdale.
The couple will be married in a backyard wedding at the home of the bride’s parents in Elsanor on June 18, 2011 at 6:30 in the afternoon.
The bride-to-be graduated from University of Montevallo with a degree in science and elementary education and taught second grade there for the last school semester.
The prospective groom is employed on an organic farm in Montevallo.
Grandparents of the groom are Frank and Toni Meeker and Theresa and Robert Harms, all of Summerdale.
The bride’s grandparents are Loretta and Pat Peckham of Robertsdale and John and Jeanette Ryan of Elsanor.
The bride and groom will make Montevallo their home.
