This is truly unacceptable that this facility has been allowed to go into operation right behind the largest subdivision of homes in Baldwin County.

Lake Forest is filled with families who have children and single moms with children. On Willowbrook Circle alone, there are more than 15 children in residence. Willowbrook Circle, where I live, is directly behind this facility. If it weren’t for a few trees, I would look directly at The Shoulder from my back yard.

The individuals in this facility are not locked up.  They come and go and have easy access to escape into the heavily wooded areas around the facility which leads right into the yards of Lake Forest homeowners.

We have had meetings with the Lake Forest Homeowners Association trying to block this facility from moving into our neighborhood but they were unsuccessful.

I encourage the homeowners of Lake Forest to get together and demand that this facility be re-located to another area.  This is unsafe for all of us and for our children.

Do you want to wake up with an escaped criminal hiding in your bathroom—or even worse, in the bedroom with your children or your wife?

Think about it!

It’s time to get together and take a stand on this matter before one of our family members gets hurt.
