Lisa Marie Peters and Christopher Thomas Edmunds, both of Atlanta, Ga., were married July 24 at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta. The Rev. Thomas Martin officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Deborah Peters of Daphne. She is a graduate of Bayside Academy and Samford University.
She is a senior accountant with Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC in Atlanta. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The groom is the son of Ann and Terry Austin of Roswell, Ga. and Tom Edmunds of Marietta, Ga. He is a graduate of Roswell High School in Roswell Ga. And Samford University. He is a senior accountant with Ernst and Young in Atlanta.
Kristina Brown of Clarksdale, Miss, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Allen, Beth Peters of Birmingham and Courtney Chavers all of Birmingham Ala. with Leigh Lovelady, Leslie Robinson and Becky Richerson all of Atlanta Ga., and Claire Peters of Satsuma Ala.
The best man was Michael Edmunds of Atlanta. Groomsmen were: Adam Creech of Cane Ridge, Tenn., Ryan Edmunds of Indianapolis, Ind., Johnny Griffee of Marion, Ark., Michael Peters of Birmingham Ala., Scott Emery, Michael Kendrick, and Brent Robinson all of Atlanta, Ga.
The reception was at Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta, with music provided by “Az Izz.”
Following a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will reside in Atlanta, Ga.
