Celebrity chef, author and restaurateur Paula Deen will visit her restaurant, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, April 1 for a book signing.
Deen’s last visit on April 9, 2022, drew a large crowd with a line wrapping around the building. The first people in line arrived around 4 a.m. to snag one of the 250 wristbands.
For this year’s visit and book signing, doors will open at 9 a.m. The restaurant team will again hand out 250 meet-and-greet wristbands for guests to have a one-on-one experience with Deen.
To receive a wristband, guests must purchase an item from the Paula Deen Retail store.
“We always have a blast at these book signings,” Deen said. “I can’t wait to revisit our fabulous location at OWA.”
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen serves meals in a family-style setting. The family-style menu offers traditional Southern dishes, such as classic Southern fried chicken and Georgia fried catfish. Guests can also enjoy a selection of delectable side dishes and Deen’s renowned dessert, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake.
“Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is in the perfect location to serve the millions of visitors who come to the Alabama Gulf Coast every year,” said Kyle Sanders, general manager of Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen at OWA Parks & Resort in Foley. “The book-signing experience is ideal for our destination and a great way for guests to not only relax and enjoy time together while visiting our area but also have a chance to meet Paula Deen in person.”
