FOLEY — Do you love comic books or maybe hope to one day create your own?
If you answered yes, then you need to make a reservation for the upcoming Cocoa, Coffee and Doughnuts with an Author at Foley Public Library.

Pensacola-based comic book writer and illustrator Jeffrey Frame is the featured author for this month's event. He is the creator of The Smiley Face Commandos comic series.

The Smiley Face Commandos are an elite military strike force who have created a crime-fighting team. The comic is recommended for tweens and above.

Frame has been a vendor at the library's Forward City Con for the past three years and will return for the fifth-annual Forward City Con Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Foley Civic Center.

The Foley Public Library's Cocoa, Coffee and Doughnuts with an Author is Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m. Reservations are required. To reserve your seat call (251) 943-1031 or visit foleylibrary.org to reserve online.
