GULF SHORES, Ala. — Little Lagoon Preservation Society invites members and the general public to attend a quarterly membership meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m., at the Adult Activity Center in Gulf Shores.
Guest speaker Vince Calamette (Division Engineer, ALDOT, BS Civil Engineering, USA) will discuss plans to redesign and replace the existing Little Lagoon Pass bridge and channel.
Mark Acreman, city of Gulf Shores Public Works director, will also be available to provide a city perspective on the project and answer questions.
Other topics to be discussed following our guest speakers include: Little Lagoon Water Quality update by LLPS Board member Bill Dickenson and LLPS Vice President Dennis Hatfield; LLPS Financial Update by Treasurer Jim Rinaudo; Election of LLPS Board Members.
The general public is invited to attend this event and encouraged to join our non-profit society. LLPS strives to “Preserve and improve the quality of life on and around Little Lagoon”.
