Looking for something fun to do with the kids?

There are plenty of family-friendly happenings across Baldwin County to keep little ones busy and smiling. From story times to creative crafts and open play, there’s something for every age and interest.

Many of these events are free or budget-friendly, so families can enjoy special moments without stretching the wallet (which is super important with the holiday season approaching).

KIDS OPEN PLAY

What: Bay City Gymnastics Academy hosts an open play session for children ages 6-15. All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call (251) 621-2112.

ECO-ART: SPOOKY OYSTER SHELL DECOUPAGE

What: The Learning Campus at Gulf State Park will host a hands-on eco-art class where participants can turn recycled oyster shells into colorful, coastal-inspired art. All supplies are provided, including holiday-themed materials to create a festive touch. The class is open to all ages, and registration is required. What: The Orange Beach Public Library hosts a relaxed story time for babies and toddlers ages 0-3. Parents and caregivers can enjoy a calm, paced session designed for early literacy and interaction.

When: Monday, Nov. 3, 9:30 a.m.

Where: Orange Beach Public Library, 26267 Canal Rd., Orange Beach

Price: Free admission

STORY TIME WITH WORD BIRD

What: Bay Minette Public Library will host Story Time with Word Bird, a kid-friendly reading session full of fun and interactive storytelling. The event is open to all children and may be held at either the library or the Kid's Park. Follow the library's Facebook page for location updates.
