John Richard Kostelecky was a native and a resident of Silverhill, Alabama. John passed away after a long illness on Thurs., Jul. 4, 2024, at the age of 53. John was a graduate of Robertsdale High School. He was an artistic person and enjoyed his painting and woodworking. He loved giving his artwork to people all over Baldwin County, never charging a fee. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Kostelecky and is survived by his mother, Carolyn Vasko Kostelecky, brother, Tim Kostelecky (Jan), sister, Ann Marie Kostelecky Smith (Scottie), niece, Paige Kostelecky Moore (J.D.), nephew, Kyle Kostelecky and other relatives and friends. A celebration of John's life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
