Gulf Shores City Schools’ three schools are in a “precautionary lockdown” due to an incident at a local bank, as of the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 11.
A text from the district to parents of students said, “All students and staff are safe and secure. We are in contact with GSPD and will notify you if dismissal is delayed.”
There is an increase police presence in the city and area.
