Students in Mrs. Cendy Hart’s 2nd grade class at Gulf Shores Elementary created fraction flags to represent ½ or 2/4, 1/3, 2/3, and ¼ . Students colored their fraction flags, and then added them to the appropriate fraction flag chart. Students enjoyed learning about fractions and new vocabulary words including: equal parts, thirds, halves, fourths, one whole, and much more.
