Frank Benson and Hilda Hastings Benson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19, 2008. The couple was married on June 19, 1958 at Greenwood Covenant Church in Summerdale. To mark the occasion, a celebration to honor the couple was held on July 12 at the Berean Baptist Church in Elberta. Mr. and Mrs. Benson have two children, Duane (Susan) Benson and Kay (David) Benson Reed.They have seven grandchildren. Many family members and friends celeberated the occasion with them.
