FOLEY, Ala. – A pair of Foley High School football players made verbal commitments to play college football this week, and three more are expected to commit soon.
Quarterback Darius Powell committed to UAB and defensive end Dre'Shon McGaster committed to Troy.
Foley coach Todd Watson also expects at least three more football players to make commitments very soon.
Foley High School will hold a signing day ceremony on February 2 with those football players along with volleyball player Megan Haber and softball standout Hillaree Bixler, who are also expected to sign.
