The parking lot of the Eastern Shore Village Center has a new addition. The Fairhope Starbucks building is slowly taking shape.

Construction began in late March and has been a hot topic on social media and comment sections since it was first announced more than two years ago.

This is the second new Starbucks under construction on the Eastern Shore. A Starbucks, which appears complete, was built next to the Chipotle Mexican Grille in Daphne. It took a year to construct. If the Daphne Starbucks is any indication, Fairhope residents could be enjoying their favorite Starbucks late in Fairhope early next year.
