With double-digit efforts in all three games to earn Most Outstanding Player honors at Robertsdale’s Pre-Thanksgiving Tournament, Fairhope senior and Alabama commit Spence Sims also won over Gulf Coast Media readers for Seacrest Furniture Athlete of the Week distinction.

The Pirates’ single-game scoring leader registered 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals in a 65-29 win over Moss Point before he finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals in a 57-38 win over Williamson. In the championship against Cottage Hill, Sims contributed 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals to a 63-33 victory to help Fairhope start 5-1.
