Elberta Middle School celebrates 1st Greek day

Posted

Before feasting on turkey and mashed potatoes during Thanksgiving break, students at Elberta Middle School traveled back in time to ancient Greece, as they celebrated their inaugural Greek day on Nov. 17.

At the event, students and teachers ventured outside of the classroom to participate in ancient Olympic-themed events, snacked on Greek food, learned how to build Archimedean mobiles and catapults.
