Daphne Animal Shelter pleas for pet and foster parents

The Daphne Animal Shelter needs help.

The shelter closed at the end of May in preparation for construction of a new facility. Staff worked to empty the shelter before moving into a temporary facility, and that kennel trailer is now full.

Staff took to social media Tuesday to ask the public for help:

“Adopters and fosters for our dogs solely needed! Our temporary facility is completely overflowing and our partner rescues are at max capacity as well so we are unable to transfer at this time. For fosters we will provide anything you need to help care for our shelter dogs.”

If you can help, call (251) 620-2500 or message the Daphne Animal Shelter Facebook page.
