Community Lunch and Learn on non-surgical arthritis relief happening in Fairhope

Arthritis, a prevalent condition affecting more than one-third of Americans, will be the focal point of an informative session led by Dr. Keith Spain, a fellowship-trained non-surgical sports medicine specialist affiliated with Baldwin Bone & Joint. The event, titled "Non-Surgical Treatment Options for Relief of Pain from Arthritis," will be hosted by the James P. Nix Senior Center, offering valuable insights into non-surgical avenues for alleviating arthritic pain.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the James P. Nix Senior Center, located at 1 Bayou Drive in Fairhope. To ensure attendance at this complimentary lunch & learn session, interested individuals are urged to RSVP by Feb. 19, either by phone at (251) 928-2835.

Dr. Keith Spain, a board-certified Family Medicine practitioner with additional certification in sports medicine, specializes in non-surgical approaches to treating orthopedic injuries and medical conditions in athletes across all age groups. With expertise in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, minimally invasive procedures and regenerative medicine, Dr. Spain addresses a spectrum of issues, including arthritis, tendinitis, fractures, sports-related injuries and various musculoskeletal ailments.

Emphasizing a non-surgical ethos, Dr. Spain provides a range of treatment options aimed at relieving pain associated with diverse conditions.
