Job seekers in Baldwin County will have a unique opportunity to leap into new career prospects on Leap Day 2024. The inaugural Coastal Career Connections Job Fair will take place at the Orange Beach Event Center on February 29, featuring participation from over 40 local businesses.

Co-hosted by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber, the Gateway Initiative and sponsored by Cosmo’s Restaurant & Bar, the event will be free to attend and will be open in hourly blocks to both high school students and the general public.

The schedule for attendees is as follows:

• 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Event open exclusively to Gulf Shores High School students
• 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Lunch break for participating businesses
• 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Event open exclusively to Orange Beach High School students
• 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Event open exclusively to Home School, Virtual School, and South Baldwin Christian Academy students
• 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Event open to the general public
