The Christian Service Center has sponsored the Children's Christmas Cheer program for over 20 years. The program aids local parents who need help to provide a Christmas for their children. Each year the program is sponsored by area churches, clubs, businesses and generous community members.

The center provides Christmas gifts for children ranging from birth through 18 years old in Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan. A Christmas food box is also available this year. Proof of residency is required through a current utility bill or lease agreement.

Registration for both the Christmas Cheer program and Christmas food box is open Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and noon on the Christian Service Center's front porch. Registration will be closed Nov. 23-25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The earlier you request gifts, the more likely your child is to receive the gift requested.

If someone you know plans on coming to the Christian Service Center and needs an interpreter, please accompany them to make the process go a little smoother. The Christian Service Center is located at 317 Dolphin Avenue, Gulf Shores.
