Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Mobile to require masks

MOBILE - Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Mobile have announced that masks will be required through Jan. 21. The decision was made due to increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in Alabama, including breakthrough cases. Masks will be required for all school personnel and students in kindergarten through 12th grade within the schools, “out of concern for the health of students, teachers, staff and their families,” according to a release.
COVID-19 precautions will be reevaluated on Jan. 21. Principals will contact families with more information.
