Bay Rivers Art Guild is requesting artists to participate in the Alabama Coastal Foundation Earth Fest, April 21.

The open show will accept two pieces per artist, in all media, as well as three-dimensional work. All work must portray the Earth Fest theme, “Alabama’s Natural Wonders.”

The festival will be held at the 5 Rivers Delta Center, which is located on the Causeway in Spanish Fort. Cash prizes will be awarded, and the entry winning the Committee’s Choice Award will be next year’s poster.

The show will run from April 21 to May 5 in the center’s exhibit hall. Entries will be accepted at the 5 Rivers Center April 16, from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and on April 17, from 4 until 6 p.m.

The entry fee is $25 to be paid by cash or check at drop-off.

Entries must be labeled with the artist’s name, title of the art and the price, on back or bottom and not visible during exhibition.

Freestanding pieces are not to exceed 50 lbs. Sculptors must provide pedestals. Canvasses must be ready for hanging.

For an entry form, visit www.bragart.org, or call 621-0659.

Artists, who will sell their art, will receive 75 percent of the proceeds from the sale.
