The Baldwin County Home Builders Association (BCHBA) garnered numerous top honors at the annual statewide builders convention, held earlier this month. BCHBA earned the top spot among medium-sized associations across the state of Alabama for "Best Community Service".
Executive Director Fran Druse said, "We've won 'Community Service' many times over the years, which we think of as an honor for recognition of important contributions to our community. We worked with Habitat for Humanity last summer, putting in 12-hour days, to build a new home in Fairhope in five days. We also have strong participation in our Home Repair Taskforce which assists local citizens in need with vital repairs."
BCHBA also took two other top statewide awards, for "Best General Membership Meeting" and "Best Communication To Members".
Druse continued, "We're all thrilled to see our membership awarded for their hard work. We're very appreciative of receiving these awards, and pleased to report that things continue to improve in our industry."
