Posted

The Baldwin County Board of Education HR Department recently announced the creation of a Future Teacher Scholarship program. Through the program, several scholarships will be offered for students who want a career as a teacher, individuals who want to become teachers, and for employees or children of employees who want to become teachers. Deadline to apply for a Future Teacher Scholarship is Monday, Feb. 28.
Each scholarship is a $1,000 value and is renewable up to $4,000. The BCBE is looking to have a recipient in each of its feeder patterns. All Baldwin County Public Schools high school seniors planning to go into the education field are eligible to receive the scholarship. Scholarship winners will be announced during the BCBE’s April work session.
If you would like to make a donation towards the new scholarship, send a check made out to the Baldwin County Education Coalition to P.O. Box 932, Summerdale, AL 36580. Include in the memo: BPFT Scholarship Fund.
