The Baptist Health Care Foundation's 10th-annual Casino Royale gala, held on April 19, garnered over $290,000.
According to a news release, these proceeds will be used to support Baptist's faith and community health programs and initiatives.
"We are committed to addressing the holistic needs of individuals and families in our community, particularly through partnerships with local faith-based organizations and community groups," said KC Gartman, chief development officer, Baptist Health Care. "Through these partnerships, we have been able to reach thousands of individuals through health care navigation, health education and health screenings."
The gala, a recurring event, took place at the Hilton Pensacola Beach. This year's theme was inspired by the James Bond film "GoldenEye." Over 300 guests relished an upscale gourmet dinner, accompanied by a six-piece showband, engaging in casino games, and participating in a silent auction.
