Posted

The Baldwin County Commission is encouraging residents, business owners and community stakeholders to review and provide feedback on the Draft Master Plan 2026, a long-range planning document that will help guide the county’s future growth and development.

Now available online, the draft plan outlines strategies for growth, land use, infrastructure, transportation, environmental stewardship and quality-of-life improvements throughout Baldwin County.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to consider the Draft Master Plan 2026 for approval during its next regular meeting at 4 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Baldwin County Central Annex Auditorium, 22251 Palmer Street in Robertsdale.

Following action by the Planning and Zoning Commission, the plan will advance to the Baldwin County Commission for consideration of final approval.

The Baldwin County Commission is scheduled to discuss the plan during its Sept. 1 work session at 9 a.m., followed by its regular meeting at 10 a.m. at the Baldwin County Administration Building, 322 Courthouse Square, Bay Minette.

County officials are encouraging the public to review the draft plan before the meetings and participate in the process. Officials said community involvement and meeting attendance are important to ensuring the plan reflects shared priorities for development, preservation and long-term resilience.
