Baldwin County Public Schools enjoyed some time off for Mardi Gras week.

Even though the Baldwin County Tiger softball team was off from school, they spent their Valentine’s Day offering doing something they love: teaching young players some techniques of the game.

The Tigers sponsored a free one-day softball hitting clinic on campus where dozens of young players came out to pick up tips on improving their batting technique.

Baldwin County hit the diamond for its season-opening game on Monday against Elberta.
