10TH ANNUAL TASTE OF THE ISLANDS

LOCATION: The Orange Beach Event Center at the Wharf. The culinary extravaganza will have more than 35 restaurants from Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and surrounding areas during the all-inclusive holiday gala, which will consist of food samplings, cocktails, musical entertainment and a silent auction. This is also a benefit for Toys for Tots so bring an unwrapped toy for local children in need.

With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Santa will arrive on a fire truck. Holiday Spectra will play after Santa arrives. Photos with Santa will be in marlin circle for this event after he arrives.

Fairhope’s Magical Christmas Parade

The Annual Fairhope Magical Christmas Parade takes to the streets of Fairhope on Friday, December 2. Fairhope’s Magical Christmas Parade begins at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Morphy and Section Street, and continues down Section to Oak Street. The excitement will build as more than 60 parade units dazzle the crowd in anticipation of Santa Claus’ arrival to Fairhope for the holiday season. WABF 1220 will be broadcasting the parade live.
