On May 27, S’mores on the Shores officially kicked-off summer with a sugar rush. Children and adults alike gathered on the white sands at Gulf Place for the annual event hosted by the City of Gulf Shores.
The family-friendly event started in 2010 and has become the perfect celebration to end the school year and start summer. This year’s event included free s’more packets, campfires, music and a sandcastle building demonstration by Sandcastle University owner Janel Hawkins.
