The Fairhope Storm is set to host the first round of the 2021 Independent American Football League playoffs on Saturday, June 5 at Fairhope Municipal Stadium’s Majors Field. Kick off is set for 4 p.m. The Storm is at the top of the Yellowhammer Division and ranked third in the IAFL overall. League wide, the Chattanooga Eagles (6-0) are No. 2 and the Sumter Sharks are at No. 1 (8-0).
Fairhope leads the league in rushing yards with Jamal Vines the top ground gainer. Lamarcus Farmer leads the Storm in receptions with 31 and kick returns for touchdowns (3) so far. On defense Jamal Grace leads the IAFL in tackles. Tashawn Pettway leads the secondary interceptions with three.
