Yvonne L. Denton, 80, of Milford, Pa. passed away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y.
She was a retired civil service employee in Anchorage, Alaska and a member of the Gulf Coast B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 2782 in Foley, Anchorage B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 2868 Ladies Auxiliary in Anchorage, Pioneers of Alaska and the Red Hat Society, the Foxy Moxies.
The daughter of the late Gustav and Lorraine (St. Peters) Dietz, she was born Oct. 31, 1932 in Seattle, Wash. She was married to the late Willard Henry Denton.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Denton and his wife Carole of Foley and Edward Denton and his wife Nora of Veneta, Ore.; daughter, Deanne Connolly and her husband Stephen of Milford, Pa.; brother Robert Dietz of Seattle, Wash.; and 10 grandchildren Michael, Rachel, Sean, Ruth, Rosemary, Mike, Reba, Ramona, Haley and Heather.
She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Ilaine.
Services and cremation will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
