Lenore Brooks Young, 74, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Daphne, died Monday, June 2, 2008, in Robertsdale.
She was a member of the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church and was employed by St. Tammany Parish School Board with 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles H. Young Jr. and brother, Alfred Brooks Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Young of Daphne; two daughters, Debbie Spicuzza of Diamondhead, Miss., Leah Young Oliver of Daphne; sister, Anne B. Darwin Negutt of Foley; brother, Ralph Brooks of New Bern, N.C.; five grandchildren, Ashley Young Page of Hattiesburg, Miss., Mia Spicuzza of Fairhope, Robbie Wells Jr. of Panama City, Fla., Anya Wells and Rory Gremillion both of Slidell, La.; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with a memorial service at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Spanish Fort United Methodist Church, 6530 Spanish Fort Blvd, Suite D, Spanish Fort, AL 36527.
